10,000 Rivers Album Cover

I designed an album cover for my friend Robert Stillman's album 10,000 Rivers:

"Robert Stillman didn’t set out to make a concept album about Steve Jobs. But as a composer and improviser whose music asks questions about his relationship with reality, a curiosity about the promises and follies of technology took him there."

Robert was inspired in part by my book Ways of Being, and shared the recordings with me. In response, I created an image (and an accompanying process video) which was based on Steve Jobs' hand movements during the original iPhone presentation in 2007.
