Abdf

2018

Hand-written text.

The Biological Station of Tour du Valat in southern France has been tracking the movements of flamingos around the Mediterranean for more than 40 years. Their database now includes some 20,000 individuals. "Abdf" tells the story of one such individual, tagged in the database as ABDF, the locations he visited over more than thirty years, and entangled tales of migration, exploitation, and environmental change.
